Handling project files

The project file is used to save and load different configurations. All windows in APASview will be part of the current project, except for the FrameControl window.

The extention used for the project files is .avp - ie. ApasView Project

Load project

To load a previously saved project use one of the two following options:

1. The Open project in the File menu

2. The speedbutton for fast access.

Both options will bring up a file open window. Locate the project file of interest and click OK.

If you have one or more windows opened with data or a previously loaded project (the project must have been changed prior to loading) before loading a new project, you will be prompted to save of the current project.

 

Save project

APASview features two possibilities to save your project:

1. The Save project in the file menu.

2. The speed button for faster access.

Both options will bring up a file save window. Type the name of the project to save and click OK.

 

New project

This option can be used to erase the current project from the APASview canvas.

To remove a canvas project use one of the following options:

1. The New project in the File menu

2. The speed button for fast access.
